Kateryna Yasko
Kateryna YaskoPresident (Chairwoman)

Kateryna got her master degree in international law at the Institute of International Relations, Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University (2001-2007). In 2008-2009 she studied at MBA program at European School of Economics, Buckingham University (Italy) specialising in international marketing.

In 2014 Kateryna got the education of psychologist at the Institute of Management and Psychology of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine. During 2010-2016 she has worked as a trainer in psychology of development and leadership area. She has been an active participant of Maidan in 2013-2014, trainer for teachers, psychologists and volunteers in education area. In 2014-2015 she received professional education in neuropsychology.

Kateryna has experience of volunteer work in international organisations, such as UNDP and UNICEF; she repeatedly took part in a number of social and volunteer projects. She also has experience in running a charitable organisation. Kateryna is raising three children; this motivated and inspired her for in-depth study of education system and its quality, psychological health and sustainable development of the nation’s human capital. Kateryna has been President (Chairwoman) of NGO “International Educational Initiative “OPEN KHATA” since 2015.

Rostyslav Borshch
Rostyslav BorshchBoard Member

Rostyslav graduated from Kyiv National Economic University (Kyiv, Ukraine) with master’s degrees in pedagogics and economics. In 1997 he founded a Sunwork Studio company specialising in design development, branding and marketing strategies. Rostyslav headed the company till 2012. Under hi guidance the company implemented successful projects for the most famous Ukrainian and international brands (PJSC ZAZ Automobile Plane, Antonov Aircraft Company, Kyiv International Airport, Mercedes Benz, Chrysler, BNP Paribas, DHL, American Express et al.).

He is also a co-author of the innovative “Life in Your Hands” educational method that focuses on the features of child’s psychology and capabilities of child’s perception and serves as a part of the motivational chain helping to develop personality and shape the character of the child.

He holds a position of Board Member in NGO “International Educational Initiative “OPEN KHATA” since 2015.

Rostyslav has two children. His hobbies include music and yachting.

Oksana Oliynyk (Andrusyak)

Oksana got her master degree in international business (2000-2006) and pursued her post graduate studies in international economic relations (2006-2009) at the Institute of International Relations, Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University. In 2005-2009 she has worked in several agencies specializing at public relations, corporate and financial communications and marketing. In 2010 Oksana successfully defended her “Development of Business Communications in International Economic Relations” thesis and got a PhD in economic sciences. During 2010-2012 she proceeded with her academic career as professor associate at KROK University of Economics and Law (Kyiv, Ukraine).

During 2004-2014 Oksana has been an active participant, speaker and moderator at numerous international youth forums and conferences in Ukraine, EU, Turkey, OAE, India and USA. In 2007 she became the 5th President of the International Youth NGO ‘European Youth Parliament – Ukraine’ and was re-elected in 2009, thus serving two terms at this position. Oksana has supervised numerous EYP events in Ukraine aiming at promoting European integration among Ukrainian youth and forming a constructive attitude towards it.

In 2012-2014 Oksana headed ‘Family Warmth’ Charity Foundation, focusing on educational kindergarten and school projects. Currently she works as PR and Program Development Officer at “Helping Hand for Ukraine” International Ukrainian-Canadian Relief Project of “HOPE worldwide Ukraine” Charity Foundation and holds a position of Board Member in NGO “International Educational Initiative “OPEN KHATA”.

Ivanna Kobernyk
Ivanna KobernykSupervisory Board

Ivanna graduated from the Institute of Journalism, Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University in 1997. With the assistance of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation she did internship in Frankfurt under the training program for journalists from Eastern Europe. She worked as a press secretary of the Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Zhulynskyi, as a releasing editor of “Windows-News” on STB TV channel. For eight years Ivanna worked as a presenter of the evening news on ICTV channel and the chief editor of the political talk show “Svoboda Slova” (Freedom of Speech) (since 2007). She has worked as a chronicler of the program “Shuster-Live” on TRC “Ukraine” (since 2009), as a press secretary of Arseniy Yatsenyuk (June 2010 – September 2011). Ivanna is a laureate of “TV-Triumph-2003” award. In 2007 she was named among the hundred of most influential Ukrainian women by the “Focus” magazine.

Ivanna is raising two children.

Kanevska Vladislava

Vladyslava have studied and done internships on mediation, facilitation, organizational management and training learning from the experts from Great Britain, USA, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Morocco, and Poland. She is accredited as the mediator in accordance with the international standards by the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR, Great Britain). Starting from 2003 she has conducted trainings of mediation, conflict resolution and facilitation. She has developed and teachers the course “Basic Skills of a Mediator” at the Academy of Advocacy of Ukraine. She took part in creation and development of 9 centres for mediation. She has been vice-president of the “Ukrainian Centre for Common Ground” (2002-2009). In 2008-2009 Vladyslava has also worked as a project manager at “Introducing Mediation in Corporate Governance in Ukraine”, IFC (International Financial Corporation, World Bank).

Currently, Vladyslava is a member of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC), Council of the Coalition on Mediation Development in Ukraine, mediator and consultant of the Ukrainian Mediation Centre at Kyiv-Mohyla Business School, leading expert of the “MBA Field” company, project manager and expert in projects of the European Union, Council of Europe, IFC, UNICEF, Swiss Cooperation Bureau et al. She is a co-author of several law bills on mediation in Ukraine, recommendations to the national programs and institutional guidelines.

Serhiy Chumachenko

Since 2006 Serhiy has participated in numerous trainings on coaching and training. Starting from April 2009 – he is a certified trainer of the Adizes International Academy of Management. Since 2012 he has studies at MBA program at the Open University (Great Britain). Serhiy is a professional business trainer and coach; he is certified by Erickson International College (Canada) and Mark Kukushkin Open Coaching University.

He has over 20 years of experience working as a trainer and consultant. He is the author of several educational initiatives for children, educational and training methods. Serhiy is a co-founder and director of the training company “Team Expert” Ltd. He is an author of the method and founder of the “ExtreMal” camp, as well as a co-founder of the “Outdoor Guides” touristic project.


Maryna Vostrova

Maryna got her first degree in Kyiv Polytechnic Institute in 1996. After receiving her second degree in National Pedagogical Drahomanov University in 2005, this time – as a primary school teacher, Maryna was organising educational work with children of preschool and early school age in 2004-2008 with educators of Specialized Educational Complex Lileya.

In 2007 Maryna began studying psychology within the Holistic Psychology Program in the INŠTITÚT REGENERÁCIE ČLOVEKA in Slovakia. In 2009 she received her diploma as an instructor-consultant of group work. Since then Maryna is developing and hosting trainings on development and harmonious relations for women; seminars for conscious parents, and parent-infant trainings on effective communication.

In 2009-2010 Maryna studied in the Ukrainian Institute of Integrative Psychology and Psychotherapy in such programs as Art Therapy and Systemic Family Therapy, which gave her a chance to broaden her expertise and knowledge.

In 2014 Maryna received her Master degree in Psychology in the University of Educational Management. Since then she has been constantly broadening her theoretical and practical knowledge in psychology.

Over the past years she was certified in the following spheres:

  • Child psychotherapy (Ukrainian training company “Osnova”, 2013-2015);
  • The practice of psycho-pedagogical assistance: eco-facilitative approach (International Centre for Psychological and Pedagogical Innovations, 2013);
  • Fundamentals of body-respiratory therapy (Centre for Innovative Technologies of Luhansk National University, 2014);
  • Art Therapy+Coaching = The most effective work with the client (NGO Eastern Ukrainian Association of Art Therapy, 2015)

In 2014-2015 Maryna studied within the «Psychologists on-line» program and held webinars at the National forum “Crisis as a Resource” on such topics as “Solving Conflicts” and “Crisis in Relations”.

Since 2015 Maryna is working as a motivational psychologist in LifeChanger FSU project. Since 2016 she is working as a psychologist on the project “Social Integration through Development of Emotional Intelligence and Conflict Mediation Skills in Eastern Ukraine” established by NGO “International Educational Initiative “OPEN KHATA”

Maryna has been married for more than 20 years; she raises 3 kids.

Maria Kaparulina
Maria KaparulinaAccountant

Maria got her higher education in business economics at Kherson National Technical University (1999-2004) and pursued her post graduate studies in business economics at Kyiv National Vadym Hetman Economic University. In 2008 Maria got a PhD in economic sciences. During 2004-2012 she proceeded with her academic career as professor assistant in KNEU and senior lecturer in KNTU (Kherson, Ukraine).

During 2002-2016 Maria has mastered her theoretical knowledge, expertise and practical skills in accounting, finances and management: in 2012-2013 she received CAP/CIPA certification, in 2013 she got a Diploma in International Financial Reporting (DipIFR) at Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). During 2015-2016 she has studied at Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).

Since 2002 Maria works in accounting as chief accountant in industrial and agricultural trading companies and non-profit organisations. She is accountant at NGO “International Educational Initiative “OPEN KHATA” since 2016.

Maria has a son. Her hobbies include yoga and painting.


Anastasia Radkova
Anastasia RadkovaVolunteer

Anastasia got her higher education and bachelor diploma in “Journalism” at Donetsk National University. She currently pursues her studies in “Tourism at Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University and “DokDokDok” Modern Photojournalism and Documentary Photography School in Saint-Petersburg. Anastasia is constantly improving her skills of social photojournalist by participating in workshops and trainings within the topic.

In 2015, due to the military aggression in Eastern Ukraine Anastasia moved to Kyiv. She has been an active participant of numerous social projects, all-Ukrainian photo exhibitions and photo contests. She is an author of National Geographic photo-project (summer 2015), which tells with photography about life of the IDPs (internally displaced persons from ATO zone).

She joined the team of NGO “International Educational Initiative “OPEN KHATA” as a volunteer in 2016.


Katya Vynogradova
Katya Vynogradova Volunteer

Katya got her education majoring in political science (Minor: psychology) at Social Science and Technologies Department National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy. In 2007 she has been one of the founders of The Debate Club of NaUKMA.

In 2010 Katya was elected as a President of the International Youth NGO ‘European Youth Parliament – Ukraine’, a National Committee of one of the largest pan-European educational platforms for youth. Being creative, responsible and efficient, she successfully head-organized several large-scale youth events, including national and regional sessions of EYP-Ukraine in 2007-2009 and 65th International Session of the EYP in 2010. She has been a chairperson and a moderator at over 20 various sessions, forums and conferences since 2006.

In 2011 Katya started working at Pronto Film; currently she holds the position of bidding producer. She joined the team of NGO “International Educational Initiative “OPEN KHATA” as a volunteer in 2016.

Olena got her higher education in geography and biology teaching at Vinnytsia State Pedagogical University (1994-1999) and pursued her post graduate studies in social and economic geography at Institute of Geography of the National Academy of Science of Ukraine.

During 2002-2014 she worked as a scientific researcher in academic institutes (Institute of Geography, Institute of Economics and Forecasting of the National Academy of Sciences), the State Institute for Family and Youth, Ukrainian Yaremenko Institute of Social Studies. Olena took part in research projects of international organizations (such as UN Children’s Fund UNICEF).

Olena was involved in the development and writing of strategic/planning and policy-programming documents of various scales (“Development Strategy of Bila Tserkva City for 2015-2022” (2015), “Implementation of Integrated Approach in Early Childhood Development” (2006), “Structural Transformation of Ukrainian Regions’ Economies and Development of Geographical Bases of Regional Social and Economic Policy” (1999-2002) etc.).

Olena improves her theoretical knowledge and research interests in such issues as competitiveness of territories and economic sectors, rural development, eco-tourism and perspectives for eco-educational tourism.

Currently Olena is the independent researcher; she cooperates as analyst and project manager with “The first rating system RATE 1” Ltd. She joined the team of NGO “International Educational Initiative “OPEN KHATA” as a volunteer in 2016
